The best part of my work has always been the people! Hear from the teammates, clients, and stakeholders I’ve worked with and mentored, the ones who’ve helped shape my journey and make every experience truly unforgettable.

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Holly Buccheri. I had the privilege of working with Holly during both of my internship terms at Cooperstown All Star Village, and I can say with complete confidence that she is one of the most influential mentors and leaders I have ever worked with.

During my first year as an intern, I was the only woman on the intern staff, and stepping into that environment could have easily felt overwhelming. Instead, because of Holly, I felt supported, welcomed, and encouraged from day one. She made sure I had everything I needed to succeed, and she created a space where I felt valued and confident in my abilities. Her leadership set the tone for what became one of the most meaningful experiences of my professional life.

When I returned for a second summer, Holly continued to be both a boss and a mentor I could rely on. She was instrumental in helping me take the next steps in my career by assisting me with identifying tasks, responsibilities, and goals that positioned me for a full time role at Cooperstown All Star Village. She consistently advocated for my growth and made sure I had opportunities to challenge myself and learn.

Holly’s support extended far beyond the daily operations of our roles. She assisted me throughout my graduate school application process and helped me navigate the classes I was taking while interning. Her willingness to invest in my success, even during the busiest and most demanding times of the summer, speaks volumes about her character, work ethic, and genuine care for the people she leads.

The nature of our work meant long days, high pressure, and very few days off, yet Holly always brought a positive and steady presence to every situation. She never hesitated to step in wherever she was needed, whether that meant helping a staff member, supporting another department, or simply offering encouragement during the toughest stretches of the season. She leads with humility, kindness, and a sincere commitment to the success of those around her.

I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship, guidance, and friendship Holly has given me over the years. Any team or organization would be fortunate to have someone like her, a leader who excels in her role while raising the confidence and abilities of everyone she works with.

To whom it may concern,

This letter of recommendation is on behalf of Holly Buccheri. I had the pleasure to work with Holly at The Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta, NY for a bunch of years.

She always showed her positive energy to athletes, coaches and family members. She was the “go to” person to get answers and solve problems. She handled all of it with nothing but respect professionalism and kindness every time.

She was a year round employee and communicated very well with everyone. No other associate had to ask what she was doing as she was always keeping everyone appraised of what she was working on and communicating very well with others. She is nothing but professional in her work.

I can’t impress how vital she was to the operations. I highly recommend her for any position she is applying for. I can’t impress how great an asset to any organization or company she is. I can be called at any time on my personal cell phone (607)434-1007.

Regards,

My name is Maddie Mendelsohn, I was an intern at the Cooperstown All-Star Village in 2024. I worked under Holly Buccheri for the summer in the Baseball Operations department.

Holly was more than a manager to me; she was a mentor who helped me better advocate for myself. I was one of the youngest interns and the youngest woman of the bunch; having a strong female figure supporting me made a huge difference. Holly was one of the few people who I knew I could confide in and rely on constantly through the summer. She was extremely hardworking, never missed a day, and met every deadline. I felt very fortunate to have had Holly as one of my bosses for the summer because she was someone I wanted to look up to.

The internship was used as one of my credits at NYU to help complete my major. In part with my internship requirements, Holly helped me with my summer goals/outlines. She even assisted me with the admin work when she did not have to. I am not sure I would have gotten the credits for the summer had Holly not helped me with difficulties on the admin side or assisted with my weekly tasks.

I appreciate everything Holly has done for me, through that summer and in supporting me through my career since then. I consider her one of the strongest mentor-figures I've had. I am truly thankful that she has been such a strong piece of my career journey.

Best Regards,

Maddie Mendelsohn

To Whom it May Concern,

My name is Natalie McDermott, and I had the opportunity to work under Holly Buccheri as a Baseball Operations Intern at Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta, NY. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with her and how her leadership made a meaningful impact on my internship.

During my time at Cooperstown All Star Village, Holly served as my direct supervisor and mentor. She consistently demonstrated strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. She took the time to teach me the ins and outs of C.A.S.V. and baseball operations, from scheduling and team coordination to handling tournament logistics. What stood out most was her ability to create a positive and supportive environment where interns felt comfortable asking questions and learning through hands-on experience. This was huge because our operations coordinator at the time was not the most supportive so it meant the world to me that Holly was always there for us female interns.

Holly was always patient, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping me grow professionally. She encouraged me to take initiative, guided me through challenges, and always made sure our team worked efficiently while maintaining high standards and having fun. Her mentorship played a huge role in developing my confidence and understanding of sports operations, and I’m very grateful for that.

I believe Holly would be an incredible asset to any organization. She brings a balance of leadership, professionalism, and genuine care for her team that makes those around her better.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional information about my experience working with her.

Sincerely,
